If your home has wiring splices like this your risk of fire or electrical shock is greatly increased...this condition is considered a fire and safety hazard. The wires should join in an approved junction box. Hire licensed contractors to do work on your home.

Found in a new home in the City of Madison. We can't say enough about this picture. Often times we are asked if new homes really should be inspected...after all, they have passed all the city inspections! This condition is very dangerous!

What is wrong with this picture? Not only dangerous but also it is illegal to jump the meter base without a meter to record power usage.

Found in Rankin County this panel is only a few years old. An room addition had been finished to the home...the panel had been tapped into and the circuit breakers doubled up with wiring. Overload!
